Working in series based on themes that I am processing in my lived experience, bodies of work, and artistic output are artefactual remains of those transient moments and eras. Sometimes devoting myself wholly to the image making process, other times my art is a periphery result of some other action or incorporation of ideas being manifested into the work. I have a tendency to unify diverse artisan processes with meaning imbued materials and found objects into my production, building harmonious narratives. Though for many years keeping my art mostly segregated from artisan output; creative cycling happening organically over time has led to a ever more important enmeshment of the two most fundamental elements of my creative output.
